THE PIG’s Festive Fizz Case

Wine is never an afterthought at THE PIGs, and we believe English wine truly is something worth celebrating – especially for the festive season!

We have an obsessive commitment to all things local and, when it comes to wine, we love nothing more than fruit from our own soil. So, we’ve carefully curated a Christmas case filled with our first bottles of our very own PIG Fizz, made with local grapes, to toast with good food, good friends and seriously good times. 

Our two PIG sparkling wines in our Festive Fizz Case are THE PIG Reserve, a sparkling cuvée, and Lobster Shed Pink, a sparkling rosé, created in partnership with our good friend Jame Tuttiett of Northbrook Springs Vineyard in Hampshire.

Inside each case, you’ll find two bottles of THE PIG Reserve and one bottle of our Lobster Shed Pink – each are from the 2020 vintage, which proved to be a very good harvesting year in the UK with a warm summer and good conditions where the grapes were picked at optimal ripeness.

You won’t be able to get your hands on these special bottles anywhere else and we have a very limited run of just 30 of these cases… just in time for the most wonderful time of the year! Now, where are those glasses?  

What are we drinking?

Sparkling – Northbrook Springs – THE PIG Reserve, Sussex
58% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir and 12% Pinot Meunier
Our PIG English fizz is a real Christmas crowd pleaser with notes of sourdough, baked tangerine and ginger. It’s pure Christmas in a glass! 

Sparkling - Northbrook Springs – Lobster Shed Pink, Sussex
68% Pinot Noir, 26% Pinot Meunier and 6% Chardonnay
Bottled in April 2021, our Lobster Shed Pink has aged on lees for 33 months, contributing to some great complexity. This sparkling rosé combines red fruit elegance and freshness, with delicate notes of strawberry, white blossom and brioche (and, we have to say, it’s absolutely delicious!)
